We propose a model for direct speech-to-text translation, which gives promising results on a small French-English synthetic corpus. Relaxing the need for source language transcription would drastically change the data collection methodology in speech translation, especially in under-resourced scenarios. For instance, in the former project DARPA TRANSTAC (speech translation from spoken Arabic dialects), a large effort was devoted to the collection of speech transcripts (and a prerequisite to obtain transcripts was often a detailed transcription guide for languages with little standardized spelling). Now, if end-to-end approaches for speech-to-text translation are successful, one might consider collecting data by asking bilingual speakers to directly utter speech in the source language from target language text utterances. Such an approach has the advantage to be applicable to any unwritten (source) language.Listen and Translate: A Proof of Concept for End-to-End Speech-to-Text Translation Quantum field theory with the generalized uncertainty principle II: Quantum Electrodynamicshttp://www.jedawyah.com/bibtex/225ba8a7303a6699071104bb2f823ac5a/d_saitod_saito2020-05-11T04:43:55+02:00QED QFT P. We obtain expressions for the Lagrangian, Feynman rules and scattering amplitudes of the theory, and discuss their consequences for current and future high energy physics experiments. We hope this will provide an improved window for testing Quantum Gravity effects in the laboratory.Quantum field theory with the generalized uncertainty principle II: Quantum Electrodynamics Scikit-learn : machine learning in Pythonhttp://www.jedawyah.com/bibtex/20ef51ba2cec0158d6e97cb80033d5491/flashspysflashspys2020-05-10T23:28:51+02:00ma treelearning scikit-learn developers. (2020)Sun May 10 23:28:51 CEST 2020scikit-learn.orgScikit-learn : machine learning in {Python}2020ma treelearning Do psychiatric patients experience more psychiatric symptoms during COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown?
